Exercise Physiology
Exercise Physiologists are trained to help you be more active by improving your fatigue levels, coordination, balance, strength, endurance and mental health.
We are here to improve your wellbeing in ways you enjoy and which are safe for you. Our programs are tailored to your individual needs and focused on making you feel safe and comfortable.
Exercise Programs
We will guide you every step of the way to help you achieve your wellbeing goals. Your goals can be building strength or improving balance and endurance. We can personalise a home exercise or community gym program with clearly defined milestones suited to your unique abilities. Our program can include cardiovascular exercises for lung and heart health, and resistance exercises to build strength and endurance. We will also provide ongoing education and support as we carry out the exercises so you can better understand the changes that occur in your body.
Balance Training and Falls Prevention
Falls are a leading cause of hospitalisation in Australia. We want you to be happy and confident as you move, instead of constantly worrying about when or where a fall will happen. Our Exercise Physiologists can help identify whether you are at an increased risk of falls and develop exercise programs to improve your balance.
Weight Management
Along with personalised exercise programs, our Exercise Physiologists can provide advice and information about healthy eating and nutrition, and work with you on a plan to help you achieve your goals.
Improving Mental Health
Healthy habits, such as exercise and eating well, can have a big impact on your mental health. Our Exercise Physiologists can work with you to create a nutrition and exercise program that will help you feel happier and realise your full potential.
